Anna Welsh has recently released the 2017 winter clinic series dates and areas of focus. The Fire welcome all who wish to fine-tune their skills and learn from an established group of players and coaches.
The clinics are scheduled to commence on Friday, November 10th with a hitting session for ages 6-18 from 9 to 11:30 a.m. There will also be a pitching session from 12:30 to 3 p.m. All campers are welcomed to stay for the Fire practice beginning at 3:15 p.m. The cost of each clinic is $50.
There will be two-day skills camp over Thanksgiving Break beginning on Monday, November 20th through the 21st. Camp begins at 9 a.m. and ends at 4 p.m. both days and attendees should pack their own lunch. The two-day all-skills camp costs $200.
On Saturday, January 13, 2018, the Fire will host a free coaches clinic at the Southeastern Softball Field that is focused on how to develop the fundamentals of softball, effectively coach girls, run efficient practices, and motivate players to perform at their highest potential.
The final two camps will be held on Monday, January 15, 2018 and Monday, February 19, 2018. On the January 15th slate is an all skills camp beginning at 9 a.m. and ending at 4 p.m. Presidents Day is the last opportunity to attend a Fire camp. The camp will be focused on hitting and campers should pack a lunch. Both of the camps cost $100 and are open to players ages of 6-18.
